"God has a very special plan for each of your lives, and wants you to know Him personally. Remember that no problem you will ever have is too big for Him to handle. No matter what happens, God always has your best interests in mind. That means that God always does what is best for you - even when it seems hard. He loves each of you very much."

Antoine Smith

Antoine's church put together a memorial for Antoine and all others who have paid the ultimate price in the war in Iraq.

On May 27, 2007 the First Baptist Church of Orlando utilized some vacant property to put a memorial to let the world know that We Remember. In the pictures below you will see row after row of American flags planted in the ground. The poignant effect of these flags made even more personal by the fact that each and every one of the flags bore a tag with the name of one of the fallen. Somewhere in this sea of flags Deborah Smith, Toine's mom, planted flag bearing Toine's name on it.

May we always remember what Toine and others like him have given us with their personal sacrifice.
